| Fly On Top, maintain your instrument proficiency. Select from ten aircraft
and define your flight conditions with unlimited options. Challenge yourself
with all the hard-IFR weather, systems malfunctions, and engine failures you can
cope wth. Fly progressively more demanding situations. Venture outside the
narrow channels of your training days to get more out of your instrument
ticket.
- On Top includes an accurate rending of ten aircraft: Cessna 172P
Skyhawk, Cessna 182R Skylane, Cessna 182R Skylane RG, Piper PA-28-161 Warrior
II, Piper PA-28R-201 Arrow IV, Lancair Columbia 300, Mooney MSE, Beech Bonanza
V-35, Beech Baron 58 Twin, Beech 1900 Twin Turboprop.
- Each aircraft is flexible in the panel: choose an HI or HSI, an ADF
or RMI, add a moving map or GPS, an attitude indicator or flight director. Fly
any approach in the world with the worldwide database.
- Keep yourself surprised by programming variability into the
weather. Set up conditions that improve, deteriorate, or change randomly
to add unpredictable turbulence, ceilings, clouds, and winds.
- Set failures up randomly or within a preset delay range to maximize
your emergency procedures training.
- Complete flight information is recorded every time you fly and
displayed graphically in overhead and profile views, letting you save and
replay these flights for later evaluation, or re-fly portions of the flight
under different conditions.
- On Top supports dual-monitor computer stations. This means that
when you run an "extended desktop" in Windows, On Top can display any of the
"setup" windows on one monitor, while the other monitor displays the
airplane's cockpit. Instructors benefit by being able to monitor and conduct
the flight as it happens, without interrupting it to make setup changes, and
individuals benefit by not having to interrupt their flight to check progress
or make changes.
